Studio D'artisan SP-083 Three Selvedge 45th Anniversary - One Wash

There is a denim item that was the most difficult to make in the history of STUDIO D'ARTISAN .

It is a masterpiece that can be said to be the crystallization of the history of STUDIO D'ARTISAN's generous dedication of time and technology, and it is no exaggeration to say that it defined the "value of selvage" . For this 45th anniversary project, we have reproduced that historical item, the "Three Ear Jeans". Using the original yarn of STUDIO D'ARTISAN's first model, "DO-1", we wove the width of a power loom, which is rare even in Japan, narrowing it to an extremely thin 20cm and 38cm, and produced an unparalleled smallest selvage denim. Normally, fabric is used so that one selvage is placed on each leg, but these jeans use the smallest width denim and are designed to allow three selvages to be placed on each leg. The silhouette is regular straight. This is proof of the possibilities of a completely new denim born from tradition and technology .
